1. Identify the sample
- Supplier, model, revision, sample ID and receipt date
- Firmware or control version where applicable
- Battery, motor, cooling module, heat sink and charger identification
- Photographs of labels, ports, accessories and packaging
2. Freeze appearance and configuration
| Area | Approval record |
|---|---|
| Dimensions and weight | Drawing revision, measurement method and tolerance |
| Color and finish | Controlled color reference, texture and defect limits |
| Controls and display | Button sequence, modes, indicators and error behavior |
| Contact and air path | Plate location, guards, vents, clearances and user-touch surfaces |
| Branding | Logo size, position, process and approved artwork revision |
3. Link measurements to the unit
Attach the complete test record for cooling-plate temperature, airflow or air speed, noise, electrical input, charging and runtime. State ambient conditions, operating mode, instruments, measurement points, repeat count and pass/fail criteria. Do not approve an isolated best result.
4. Review safety and documents
- Thermal control, hot-side behavior and contact limits
- Condensation, sweat and cleaning considerations
- Battery marking, protection, transport information and charger configuration
- Reports and certificates matched to the model and critical components
- Warnings, labels, manual language and destination-market requirements
5. Approve packaging and shipment condition
Record product protection, accessories, retail package, barcode fields, carton quantity, carton marking and any drop or transport evaluation. Keep the approved artwork and physical reference together.
6. Define change control
List components and files that cannot change without notification and review. State who may approve a change, what evidence is required and which tests or documents must be repeated.
Use a controlled approval package
Combine the sample ID, signed specification, inspection criteria, artwork, packaging proof, test records and current document list in one revision-controlled package.
